Kids (R) Special Learning Center is a Spanish bilingual childcare center teaching children Spanish as a second language. You have made a great choice for your child's early development and education. We firmly believe that every child is uniquely gifted and has infinite potential to learn and to do great things. It is our feeling that the children are the hope of the future and we are dedicated to providing a wonderful safe, clean, loving and nurturing environments that nourishes both the intellectual and emotional development of your children. We have created a place were parents don't need to worry about their kids while they are at work and where parents feel good about going to work every morning because they know their kids are well taken care of at our center.

Kids (R) Special Learning Centers are privately owned childcare centers that have been owner-operated since 1990. We are an educational learning childcare center catering to children from the early ages of four weeks through twelve years old. We offer before and after care for school age children and also a wonderful Summer Camp for school aged children. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm at Kirkland center and 6:30am to 6:00 pm at our Lynnwood center.

At Kids (R) Special, we teach Spanish in every classroom. Each classroom has a daily schedule that the teachers follow and a monthly lesson plan that was created by the owner. Creating this lesson plan for the teachers gives them more one-on-one teaching time with every child. Our lesson plan is theme-based, which is broken up into four weekly concepts which allows the teachers to cater to each child's learning style so no child is left behind.

We teach respect and manners to the children. Our center believes that it is everyone's job to teach children what is right from wrong. We do not believe in teaching children to share at our center. We believe that it is more important to teach each child to respect each person and their activity until they are done with it. We teach the children to problem solve and to work together as a team. We teach the children to use their words and express themselves through words instead of physical, angry gestures. We teach children that we all have feelings and that we need to respect everyone and everything in our environment.

We have two wonderful childcare facilities, one located in the Kirkland area and our second location located in the Lynnwood area. Our Kirkland location is run by the owner, Alina Christ, and our Lynnwood location is run by Sherri Higgins, the director.

Our Lynnwood location was open to be able to cater to those families that cannot afford an enriched environment for their children. We call this location our "Affordable" childcare center, offering a rate of $180 per week for all age groups. We only offer this at our Lynnwood location. We wanted to be part of helping every child and making sure every child has a clean, safe, educational environment, no matter what their status is.

We have a very warm, caring, dedicated staff in both our centers connecting to all of your child's needs. We provide daily updates both verbal and written on your child's developments. We work together with you to support your child's healthy growth and development by sharing there learning experiences and excitement your child experiences every day at our centers.
